OUR STORY
While working in the life sciences sector as an engineering buyer, our Founder and CEO Niall Corrigan saw firsthand that the supplier-customer relationship was not working as well as it could do. A lack of focus on organisational goals and a poor understanding of the business value of engineering projects was leading to suboptimal work.
He knew that if companies engaged at a deeper level with their engineering partner, better solutions would follow which met organisational goals. And with that, Dolmen Engineering was born and our company has gone from strength to strength ever since. Headquartered in Castlebar, Co. Mayo with offices in Dublin, the U.K. and Belgium, we now employ 70 people across many engineering and design disciplines.

Niall Corrigan
Founder & CEO
As CEO, Niall is responsible for Project Delivery, Client Management, Business Development, Operations, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering Design, Engineering Services across our extensive client base. Niall has an in-depth knowledge in the areas of aseptic manufacturing, compliance and engineering which gives Dolmen Engineering a distinct advantage in successful project planning and implementation.

Ruth Foran
Business Development Manager
B.Eng (Chemical & BioProcess Engineering) with over 10 yearsâ experience in the Pharmaceutical and Chemicals sectors. Ruth is responsible for leading Business Development activities for Dolmen Engineering in Ireland and other international markets, maintaining a targeted approach to business growth.

Chief Financial Officer
Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 30 yearsâ experience at CFO and CEO level in SMEs in Ireland, UK, Germany, and Sweden.
John has worked with both start-ups and established companies. He has a track record of accelerating growth, improving profitability and increasing the valuation of the companies he has worked in.
John is an experienced company mentor with strong financial abilities, is a good communicator and listener with the ability to solve problems and brings sound commercial sense to all his business dealings. -
Anton Dooley
Head of Design
Dolmens Head of Design, Anton Dooley has over 30 yearsâ experience in Piping Design across many industry sectors including: Bio Pharma, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, Mining, Oil & Gas, Fine Chemicals, Semi-conductor, Energy and Renewable Resources. Anton is responsible for the successful delivery of all design projects delivered to our Clients by Dolmen Engineering.
He has extensive experience with all aspects of process and piping systems and has managed teams of 20+ to successfully deliver projects of all sizes.

Libby O’Donoghue
Recruitment Lead
Bachelorâs Degree, Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology, Libby has six years’ experience recruiting in the Life Sciences and Pharma Sectors. At Dolmen Engineering she is responsible for all internal and external recruitment (Permanent, Temporary & Contract) within technical engineering and science disciplines predominantly within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Food Production and Critical Systems sectors.

Finance Lead
Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Financial Management, Laura has six yearsâ experience in the industry with 5 of those years with Dolmen Engineering. She is a powerhouse ensuring everything financial and HR is at a premium level at Dolmen Engineering. Maintaining and establishing key relationships with our stakeholders delivering a premium service.
